Minokari Sanza

Sanza has always had a talent for playing with mechanical things. When her parents discovered her ability to call gusts of wind using magic, she was tested by the school with artifacts and showed a knack for understanding how they worked, too. She's retrofitted a vacuum instead of the traditional witch's broom to fly with, and it actually works… usually.

Utility Talents

  • That Was Intentional! – 1/Day
    • Trigger – You roll a natural 1 on your Expert Skill.
    • Effect: Treat the check as though you had rolled a natural 20.
  • Nimble Fingers – 3/Day
    • Gain a +5 bonus to a Mechanics check or any other check that deals with fine manipulation using your hands.
  • Create Crazy Contraption – Magic
    • Preparation Time: 12 Seconds
    • Create a Crazy Contraption, such as an improvised bicycle-powered flying machine. Crazy Contraptions cannot have combat applications and can only perform physical tasks, a ‘disenchantment contraption’ or, ‘mind-controlling contraption’ could not be built. No materials need be on hand to craft a Crazy Contraption and the process of crafting one after the preparation time takes less than ten seconds. Crazy contraptions cannot be longer than 20 feet on any given side. Other than that, feel free to use this ability to shatter the boundaries of common-sense. The contraption disappears after ten minutes and has no monetary value.
  • It’s Almost like Flying
    • Congratulations! Whether through use of a newly-learned spell, a gnomish contraption or something else entirely – you’ve gained the ability to fly! However, flying takes a lot of practice and right now… You kind of suck at it. You can fly with terrible maneuverability (you suffer a -10 penalty to precision and brawn skills while flying)
  • Flight School
    • Prerequisite: It’s Almost Like Flying
    • Your flying improves from terrible maneuverability to average maneuverability (you suffer a -5 penalty to precision and brawn skills while flying).
  • Derp
    • If you roll a 2 or a 3 on skill check, the roll is instead considered to be a natural 1. You begin the day with an additional Magic Point.
