Background
Castor is the cast-out scion of the noble house Califax and lived a life of joy and wealth for much of his life. He was brought up to be competent and worthy of inheriting the family lands and titles until his powers started to show and a Black Ship came for him. At first he took his psychic powers as a blight on his family name, but since his sanctioning he's taken them as another sign of providence.
He has been shattered and remade on the throne, he is closer to the Emperor than most could ever be. He's very invested in fate and destiny and believes, simply, that some people are meant to do great things and others are meant to be protected by them and still others meant only to cower in their shadow. He will do great things!
He's very young yet, still untested and green with barely any powers to his name, but he's eager to prove himself. He's rough around the edges and his scar kind of hurts his pretty boy pride but he's fairly certain he's still one hell of a beautiful creature in more than one way.
